GitNation to Hold JavaScript Conference in Former Church in Amsterdam
AMSTERDAM / NETHERLANDS, May 25th – From May 31st to June 1st, GitNation will hold the first-ever church-based JavaScript conference with the biggest JS community in the Benelux behind it — Amsterdam JSNation.
“When we established our JS meetup 6 years ago, we never imagined we would welcome up to 1200 attendees at our events and organize 4 meetups and multiple spin-offs in Europe. Our secret? We welcome people from all walks of life in our community, and we are a proud partner of initiatives like Unicorns in Tech, the global tech network for LGBT professionals and straight allies,” said the organizers.
Amsterdam JSNation is a 2-day event focusing exclusively on JavaScript development. The 2018 Amsterdam JS conference will gather 500 JS pros at Zuiderkerk, a former church located directly in Amsterdam’s city center. One of the two conference days is dedicated to free workshops on ClojureScript, Vue, Progressive Web Apps and testing of JS apps, as well as extra events.
GitNation is a nonprofit foundation aimed at organizing meetups, workshops, and conferences for the enthusiasts alike. With events such as React Amsterdam and AmsterdamJS conferences, the foundation is running 3000 devs community in Amsterdam and reaching out to 50 000+ members globally. Its mission is to foster a progress of front-end developers by encouraging professional growth opportunities, skills evolution, and nurturing passion for the craft.
