Kyiv Legal Hackers to Hold the First European Legal Hackers Summit in Odessa

ODESSA / UKRAINE, May 17th, 2018 – On May 26th, the Kyiv Legal Hackers chapter will host the first European Legal Hackers Summit. The summit will bring together legal tech enthusiasts from over 10 countries Europe, CIS, US and Canada to talk about the emerging trends, opportunities, and the current state of legal innovation.

“Legal tech is rapidly developing and every day there are more quality products and great news about the advancements in this industry. This year, New York Legal Hackers decided to hold the first European summit in Ukraine. It is a great honor and a great responsibility,” remarked the hosts from the Kyiv chapter.

European Legal Hackers Summit is a full-day conference with panel discussions and workshops on legal design, legal education, GDPR, and ICO regulation, startup pitches, and an overview of the key legal tech advancements by country. The list of speakers includes professional lawyers, top legal tech innovators, and successful startup entrepreneurs from the EU, the CIS, the US, and Canada.

The organizer of the summit is the Ukrainian chapter of the international community of specialists working at the intersection of technologies and law – Kyiv Legal Hackers.

Kyiv Legal Hackers is a chapter of Legal Hackers, a global movement of lawyers, policymakers, technologists, and academics who explore and develop creative solutions to some of the most pressing issues at the intersection of law and technology. Through local meetups, hackathons, and workshops, Legal Hackers spot issues and opportunities where technology can improve and inform the practice of law and where law, legal practice, and policy can adapt to rapidly changing technology.
