If you live in a sci-fi novel, you probably can extend your life by ctrl+x-ing and ctrl+v-ing your mind into an artificial body.

But in the real world, things don’t work like that yet. Still, the time when robots and artificial intelligence can become advanced enough to do real sci-fi stuff isn’t that far off. Or, so it seems: the truth about what they and should do is slightly different from what we imagine.
