Can Internet Be Censored?

For many of us internet has always been the place of freedom and sassy memes. Yet, out of blue the EU attempts to establish a copyright legislation to guard unique content creators. Fair enough? It depends. Regulators aim to protect rightholders’ works from exploitation by massive online platforms and propose to apply specific tools to filter out any copyright violations before the content in question is published. However, strict censorship may suppress people’s aspiration to produce content online.
